The exotic Kingdom of Morocco awaits in Easton this weekend and includes an authentic Marrakesh Souk that will line Harrison Street from noon to 6 pm. Honoring the ties between Morocco and the US, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco Rachad Bouhlal, former US Ambassador to Morocco Ed Gabriel and Easton's Mayor Robert Willey will officially open the souk at noon. The market features artisans, craftsman and merchants selling handmade goods, carpets, caftans, tunics, purses and spices, among other things, from Morocco. Traditional Moroccan music and a fashion show will entertain shoppers as they bargain and sip mint tea. This event is open and free to the public so spread the good word.
